Wood Products
PCWP MACT & RTR
Current NCASI studies in the wood products program are focused on positioning the industry for the upcoming MACT residual risk and technology review (RTR) and reconsideration of MACT for remanded miscellaneous process units. NCASI studies are evaluating the variability of VOC/HAP emissions from miscellaneous process units like sanders, saws, screens, and refiners and quantifying the impacts of source co-location and building air on emissions. NCASI is also helping develop data and technical justifications on the applicability of work practice standards for lumber kilns and other remanded miscellaneous sources.
