Recent NCASI technical analyses in the wood products segment are focused on the upcoming MACT residual risk and technology review (RTR), frequently termed as PCWP MACT II and RTR. NCASI technical analyses are evaluating the impacts of source co-location and building air on emissions and the underlying feasibility of establishing MACT standards for these units. Targeted industry surveys conducted by NCASI has gathered information on miscellaneous source configuration and operations, that serve to further illustrate these issues.
