Jayme Coyle, Ph.D.

Background:

Dr. Coyle joined the NCASI staff in February 2024. Before joining NCASI, Dr. Coyle was employed as a US Department of Defense (DoD) contractor with Eqlipse Technologies (Formerly UES, Inc.) as a Data Modeler and Research Scientist and, prior to that, he was employed with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as a Biologist. Dr. Coyle researched the effects of nanomaterials on the cellular and non-cellular components of the pulmonary system, researched the efficacy of layered mitigation strategies for controlling respiratory aerosol exposure indoors, and developed automated workflows for toxicological, risk assessment, epidemiological, and computational modeling lines of effort. His current interest includes the application of toxicological and epidemiological principles for improving the science of regulatory and human health risk decision-making.

  • MSPH in Toxicology and Risk Assessment, University of South Florida
  • B.A. in German Language and Literature, Boston University
