Background
Derek Sain is a Senior Program Manager in the Wood Products Program. Derek has been with NCASI since 2005 working primarily in the Air Quality Program on method evaluations, emission factor development, and FTIR analysis. Derek also has responsibility for NCASI’s work related to solid waste and beneficial use of manufacturing residuals. In addition to his technical work, he also spends part of his time assisting Members in these topic areas and helping them meet their environmental goals.

M.S. in Soil and Water Science, University of Florida
B.S. in Biological Science, Florida State University
