Background
Derek Sain has been with NCASI since 2005, specializing in air quality-related topics such as emission factor development, measurement method evaluations, and regulatory compliance strategies. In his current role as Senior Program Manager, he oversees the development and execution of the Wood Products Technical Studies and Support Program. Additionally, he contributes to NCASI’s work related to solid waste management and the beneficial use of manufacturing residuals. Beyond his technical responsibilities, Derek leads various Member engagement initiatives that aim to strengthen connections between NCASI and Member company staff and to ensure Members realize the full value of NCASI work products and technical support.

B.S. in Biological Science, Florida State University
