Background
Ahsan Habib is an Analytical Research Scientist at the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc. (NCASI), where he joined in September 2024 and actively supports the Analytical Services team. He specializes in developing cutting-edge analytical methods for emerging contaminants, with a focus on sustainable environmental advancements. His current projects span a range of topics, including providing industry support for evolving PFAS technical needs, developing and validating methods for measuring PFAS emissions and ambient concentrations, creating educational resources and training programs to ensure optimal operation of treatment systems, and leading technical activities to support supplemental testing. Prior to his role at NCASI, he served as a Research Associate at the University of Texas at El Paso. He also gained three years of valuable experience in the Research & Development division of the pharmaceutical industry.
