Technical Bulletin No. 0841: A Compendium of Field Methods Used in NCASI Long-Term Receiving Water Studies
Methods are described for the ongoing characterization of the biological communities at the NCASI Long-Term Receiving Water Study (LTRWS) locations. These methods have evolved from those first implemented when the LTRWS was initiated in 1998. Sample location descriptions upstream and downstream of mill effluent discharge points are provided for wadeable habitat sampling locations on Codorus Creek (Pennsylvania), the Leaf River (Mississippi), and the McKenzie and Willamette Rivers (Oregon).
