Technical Bulletin No. 0834: Evaluation of Aquatic Nutrient Criteria Development

In response to the 1998 Clean Water Action Plan, USEPA has published a strategy document for developing ecoregional nutrient criteria, and has proposed criteria values for some ecosystems in some ecoregions. This report analyzes and critiques this and other approaches to developing nutrient criteria for water bodies.
