Technical Bulletin No. 0791: Atmospheric Fate of Chlorine Dioxide, Chlorine, Formaldehyde, Methanol, Chloroform, and Acetaldehyde
Chlorine dioxide, chlorine, formaldehyde, methanol, chloroform, and acetaldehyde emissions have been of interest to the forest products industry because these compounds can be associated with certain process operations. Attempts to consider these compounds in the ambient environment using various modeling and planning scenarios have made obvious the need for a compilation of information describing their fate in the lower atmosphere. This report addresses that need for these six compounds, and was prepared using information collected from the published literature.
