Technical Bulletin No. 0750: A Field-Scale Study of the Use of Paper Industry Sludge

Four field-scale landfill cover test cells were constructed in order to facilitate a comparison of the field performance of paper industry sludge and clay hydraulic barriers. Two covers contained clay as the barrier material, one contained paper mill wastewater treatment plant primary sludge, and one contained paper mill wastewater treatment plant primary and secondary (combined) sludge.
