Technical Bulletin No. 0719: Freshwater Sediment Toxicity Tests – Technical Evaluations and Responses with Receiving Water Sediments

The NCASI Aquatic Biology Program has completed technical evaluations of acute sediment toxicity tests recently published by EPA. Tne test methods are part of a larger EPA effort in contaminated sediment management, which includes site and source inventory and source control. The toxicity test methods include tests with Chironomus tentans, a midge, and Hyalella azteca, an amphipod.
