Technical Bulletin No. 0718: A Small-Scale Kiln Study on Method 25A Measurements of Volatile Organic Comopound Emissions from Lumber Drying

EPA Method 25A measurements of VOC emissions from lumber drying were studied using a small-scale kiln. Fresh-cut commercial softwood lumbers of ten southern and western species were tested using drying conditions similar to those practiced at full-scale kilns. VOC emissions were continuously monitored over the entire drying cycle.
