Technical Bulletin No. 0717: Review and Analysis of JABOWA and Related Forest Models and their use in Climate Change Studies
JABOWA and related models of forest growth and succession have had a significant impact on forest ecology research for more than 20 years and represent significant advances in understanding of forest dynamics. In recent years, these models have been used to evaluate potential effects of possible climate change on forests. Results often suggest potential for severe effects, but major limitations of the models should be recognized.
