Technical Bulletin No. 0707: Interlaboratory Evaluation of EPA Draft Method 1650A- Adsorbable Organic Halides by Adsorption and Coulometric Titration

An evaluation of EPA Method 1650, Revision A was conducted to determine the inter- and intra-laboratory variability of the method for influent and effluent matrices from pulp and paper industry sources. The study was designed to evaluate the overall variability of the method, as well as determine the comparability of the results using both microcolumn and shaker flask adsorption procedures. Four effluent and two influent samples were prescreened and submitted as three Youden Pairs for statistical evaluations of between and among laboratory variability.
