Technical Bulletin No. 0617: Review of Flow and Transport Processes Affecting Organic Chemicals in the Vadose Zone

The vadose zone plays an important role in affecting the fate of organic chemicals migrating through the subsurface. The vadose zone may serve as a buffer zone for ground water protection and/or as a source for chemicals that enter the groundwater. It is, therefore, necessary to understand transport processes and parameters operative in the vadose zone.
