Technical Bulletin No. 0514: Managing Oregon's Riparian Zone for Timber, Fish, and Wildlife

In 1986 the University of Washington hosted a symposium on Streamside Management: Forestry and Fishery Interactions. That symposium provided researchers and resource managers an opportunity to discuss how forest management influences fish habitat. However, it soon became apparent that a number of additional elements needed to be considered in developing riparian prescriptions.
