Technical Bulletin No. 0507: 1983 Review of the Literature on Forest Management Practices, Hydrology, and Water Quality Protection

This technical bulletin is the fourth in a series of literature reviews dealing with the impact of forest management practices on water quality and its utility. It is arranged so as to deal with the following subjects related to forest management practices and receiving water quality and utility: regulatory, legislative and research issues, runoff, sediment, nutrients, forest chemicals, and other related topics. This review of the 1983 literature includes several new sections for the forest management literature review series including literature references directed at the cumulative effects of multiple forest operations.
