Technical Bulletin No. 0505: A Review and Further Documentation of the Groundwater Solute Transport Model Random Walk and Guidance for Its Use

The first part of this bulletin is intended as a guide for company personnel directing contractor efforts, or those desiring a general understanding of the Random Walk model. Advantages and disadvantages of the model are discussed. The latter part, contained mostly in the appendices, is for the analyst who wants to execute the model. As part of the groundwater modeling program this model is currently under revision to facilitate its understanding and use at the company level.
