Technical Bulletin No. 0497: 1985 Review of the Literature on Pulp and Paper Effluent Management

Each year the National Council staff prepares several literature reviews. This one deals with the literature on water quality protection and waste treatment problems and progress in the pulp and paper industry. It is arranged so as to deal with the following subjects: biological treatment, physical-chemical treatment, internal process load control, sludge handling and disposal, and effluent characterization and environmental effects.
