Technical Bulletin No. 0478: Recent Studies and Experience with the Use of Sludge and Fly Ash on Farm Crop and Forest Lands

This technical bulletin contains nine papers presented or drawn upon at the 1985 West Coast, Central/Lake States and Northeast Regional Meetings. The first, "Clarifier Solids Agricultural Utilization Program," describes a full scale, land application program at one of Boise Cascade's mills for clarifier solids on farm land. The second, "Pack Forest Sludge and Wastewater Utilization Programs," describes investigations underway for several years at the University of Washington College of Forest Resources, where land treatment of municipal effluents and sludges has been a significant study effort.
