Technical Bulletin No. 0440: A Study of Recently Developed Continuous Dissolved Oxygen Measurement Systems Based on their Field Performance

This technical bulletin reviews three relatively new dissolved oxygen probes designed for continuous use in an aeration basin environment. The bulletin contents describe the three probes studied as well as the results of a three month long field evaluation of the probes in a bleached kraft pulp and paper mill effluent treatment system. The only maintenance required during the field evaluation was the periodic recalibration of one of the three instruments.
