Technical Bulletin No. 0315: A Review of the Operational Experience with Belt Filter Presses for Sludge Dewatering in the North American Pulp and Paper Industry

The use of belt filter presses for sludge dewatering in the pulp and paper industry has occurred rapidly in the United States. Increasing amounts of biological sludge that has required mechanical dewatering has been a leading factor in the selection of belt filter presses for about two dozen installations in the past five years.
