Technical Bulletin No. 0301: Effects of Bleached Kraft Mill Effluent on Growth and Production of Fish in Experimental Stream Channels – Second Progress Report
The investigative techniques used in this study are similar to those used in the previous study involving unbleached kraft effluent and a cold water fishery. They provide for introduction of a biologically treated bleached kraft mill effluent at a controlled rate to specially constructed streams. The effect of the effluent on a representative aquatic community and warm water fish under conditions very close to those existing in nature can then be studied.
