Technical Bulletin No. 0257: Consolidation Behavior of High Ash Pulp and Papermill Sludges

The attached Technical Bulletin represents the second and final report on the National Council's laboratory research project at Michigan State University designed to establish basic engineering characteristics of dewatered high ash content sludges to aid in the design of land disposal facilities for such sludges.
