Technical Bulletin No. 0249: Surface Properties of Hydrogels Resulting from Treatment of Pulp and Papermill Effluents Part III

The attached Technical Bulletin is the third and final report of the Lehigh University Center for Surface and Coatings Research fundamental research project dealing with the measurement of selected surface properties of hydrogels that might explain further the difficulty encountered in dewatering them, or suggest new approaches to this problem. In this report a procedure was evaluated for colloid titration measurement of surface charge of low consistency sludges.
