Technical Bulletin No. 0209: Progress in Primary and Secondary Sludge Disposal at Three Integrated Southeastern Papermills

Included in the program of the National Council's recent South Central Regional Meeting were three timely technical reports detailing mill experience in the development, design and successful operation of clarification and thickening facilities, solid bowl centrifuges and continuous belt vacuum filters for the dewatering of sludge solids. The mills involved were all large integrated bleached kraft or soda paper mills.
