All industry, and particularly our industry, pulp and paper, has, in recent years, been giving more and more attention to the problems of stream pollution and pollution abatement. This applies to new installations as well as existing plants and processes. In fact, one of the prime factors in considering any new plant or process is stream pollution, and in many instances this has limited or prevented expansion programs.
