The enclosed report is a compilation of the papers on various aspects of the Pulp, Paper and Paperboard Industry's effluent disposal problems which were presented at the 1956 Annual Meeting of Members and Symposium on Waste Treatment of the Council. Because of the numerous requests for copies of the papers presented last year this bulletin was prepared for distribution to the entire membership and many others.
