Technical Bulletin No. 0025: Aquatic Biology Research Report: The Toxicity of Kraft Pulping Wastes to Important Fish Food Species of Insect Larvae
The attached technical bulletin is the third of a series describing the effects of kraft mill effluents on fish and fish food organisms, and was first reported by the National Council in 1949. Based on work done in the aquatic biology project at the Institute of Paper Chemistry, it describes the effects of kraft mill effluents on important fish food species. The work showed insect larvae to be more resistant than the adult forms of fish.
