Special Report No. 97-02: Trends in Emissions of Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxides from Pulp and Paper Mills, 1980-1995

Emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides from U.S. pulp and paper mills were estimated for 1995 from an industry-wide survey. Survey responses were received from 325 mills representing about 95% of 1995 pulp and paper production. Estimates for 1995 were compared to those made from similar surveys in 1980, 1985, and 1990.
