Special Report No. 92-04: A Summary of Databases and Information Systems Pertinent to the Pulp and Paper Industry

The increased use of electronic data retrieval systems seems inevitable due to their convenience, speed, and low cost. The potential for increased use of these databases by permit writers has prompted NCASI to continue with its efforts to monitor the development of environmental databases constructed for or by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This report gives brief descriptions of prominent databases containing information related to surface water quality and effluent treatment, as well as provides descriptions of their availability and accessibility to potential users.
