Special Report No. 89-05: A Summary of Gaseous Emission Measurement Data for Reconstituted Building Board Plants
Emissions of gaseous compounds from reconstituted building board manufacturing plants are receiving increased regulatory agency attention. In many states, newly initiated 'air toxics programs have generated a need for information on the potential magnitude of emissions of formaldehyde, phenol, and other com- pounds considered to be 'air toxics'. Information on emissions of formaldehyde and other compounds appearing on the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act Title III (SARA) Section 313 list is also now needed for annual estimating and reporting of releases to the environment.
