Special Report No. 88-03: A Survey of Pulp and Paper Industry Environmental Protection Expenditures – 1987

The attached special report describes the results of the National Council's annual survey of environmental protection expenditures. The report contains information on actual 1987 expenditures and projected expenditures for 1988, 1989 and 1990. The figures presented in the report are based on survey responses obtained from 66 companies, representing 81% of the U.S. wood pulping capacity and 77% of the paper and paperboard capacity.
