Special Report No. 83-15: A Description of Four Corporate Environmental Audit Programs

Kimberly-Clark Corporation began conducting corporate environmental inspections in 1979. Since then, the inspection program's goals and format have been updated to reflect a changing regulatory and enforcement environment, and auditing continues to play a valuable part in assessing and maintaining environmental compliance and minimizing environmental risks at operating units.
