Special Report No. 81-01: Proceedings of the 1981 Annual Meeting of Members

The Annual Meeting of Members, held on March 16, 1981, took place at the start of a period of likely change in the tone and perhaps the direction and substance of the national environmental protection regulatory effort, particularly at the Federal level. The meeting also marked the completion of the first year of an expanded program of National Council technical studies. As a result of last year's actions by the membership, the study program now encompasses formally authorized work on (a) paper converting operations problems, (b) industrial forestry and wood products manufacture, (c) employee workspace chemical exposure control and (d) forest products industry consumer product safety problems.
