Special Report No. 07-07: Survey for Native Mussels in Selected Tributaries to the Altamaha River, Georgia

This study documented the diversity, abundance, and distribution of native freshwater mussels in several direct tributaries to the Altamaha River, Georgia. Sampling employed both qualitative and quantitative techniques, and was tailored to the range of habitats known to occur in the areas of interest. Native mussels were found at most of the survey sites.
