Special Report No. 03-02: EPA Method 1631 for Determination of Low-level Mercury in Aqueous Samples

Modifications made to Method 1631 in Revision E are summarized and the practical implications of these changes to data users are discussed. Detailed guidance on implementation of the method, covering all aspects of the analytical process from requesting sample bottles through interpreting results, is given and the rationale for this guidance is provided.
