CC-98-043: Revision of New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for Industrial Boiler NOx Emissions

The attached material appeared in the September 16, 1998 Federal Register. It is an EPA final rule which revises the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for both utility and industrial boilers for NOx emissions. This rule applies to fossil fueled boilers with heat input capacities of 100 x 106 Btu/hr or greater on which construction or modification began after July 9, 1997. It also applies to new combination boilers that burn at least 10 percent fossil fuel on an annual basis.
