CC-95-041: Addition of HAPs to the CERCLA List of Hazardous Substances; Adjustment of Reportable Quantities

The attached material appeared in the June 12, 1995 Federal Register, with corrections in the Federal Registers of July 10 and July 12. It is an EPA final rule which adds certain ‘hazardous air pollutants’ to the list of CERCLA ‘hazardous substances’ and adjusts the reportable quantities of these compounds, both for CERCLA and SARA reporting. This rule is of importance to companies with facilities which may have non-federally permitted releases of catechols, cresols, ethylene glycol, glycol ethers, or xylenes.
