CC-92-035: RCRA Final Rule on the Disposal of Used Oils and Used Oil Filters

Enclosed please find material that appeared in the Federal Register on May 20, 1992. In it EPA announces its determination that the existing regulatory program for disposed used oils is adequately protective and that there is, therefore, no need to list disposed used oil as hazardous. In addition, EPA promulgates exemptions from the definition of hazardous waste for certain types of disposed used oil filters.
