CC-13-021: EPA-Proposed Revisions to Mandatory GHG Reporting Rule

In the September 11, 2013, Federal Register, EPA proposes revisions to the reporting and recordkeeping requirements and proposed confidentiality determinations under the mandatory greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting rule. Of particular interest to the forest products industry are amendments proposed to Subpart C – General Stationary Fuel Combustion, Subpart AA – Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, and Subpart TT – Industrial Waste Landfills. There is a 60 day comment period; comments must be received by EPA by November 12, 2013. This memorandum summarizes revisions proposed by EPA that may affect facilities within the forest products industry. This material will interest all companies.
