CC-13-014: Proposed Revisions to Mandatory GHG Reporting Rule

In the April 2, 2013, Federal Register, EPA proposed revisions to several subparts of the mandatory greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting rule. Of particular interest to the forest products industry are amendments proposed to Subpart A – General Provisions, Subpart C – General Stationary Fuel Combustion, Subpart AA – Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, and Subpart TT – Industrial Waste Landfills. There is a 45-day comment period; comments must be received by EPA by May 17, 2013. This memorandum highlights a selection of the revisions proposed by EPA that may affect facilities within the forest products industry.
