CC-13-010: Beta version of International Water Stewardship Standard (IWSS)

For several years NCASI has monitored the development and dissemination of tools intended to promote water stewardship or sustainable use of water. One such tool was recently released in beta form and is potentially significant to NCASI members because, when final, it is intended to create a “standard” against which companies might seek, or be asked to seek, certification of water stewardship. The beta version of the standard is nearer to the expected final version and will be pilot tested throughout 2013, including at two pulp and paper mills.
