CC-11-011: Emission Standards for Combustion Devices Burning Non-Hazardous Solid Waste
In the March 21, 2011 Federal Register, EPA published a final rule setting emission standards for Commercial and Industrial Solid Waste Incineration (CISWI) units. This rule will be of interest to companies operating boilers burning alternative fuels including off-specification used oil, tire-derived fuel, wastewater treatment plant residuals, construction and demolition debris, urban hog fuel, resinated wood, treated wood, OCC rejects, paper pellets, turpentine, tall oil, rectified methanol, and any other material that may ultimately be determined to be a solid waste.
