CC-10-041: Final EPA Rule Establishing Numeric Nutrient Criteria for Florida’s Inland Lakes and Flowing Waters

EPA published its final rule establishing numeric nutrient criteria for Florida’s Class I and Class III inland lakes and flowing waters (i.e., rivers and streams) in the Federal Register on December 6, 2010. While this action applies only to Florida waters, it is considered a precedent with regard to EPA expectations for state development of numeric water quality criteria for nutrients.
