CC-10-034: Proposed Rule Updating and Revising Analytical Methods and Sampling Procedures for Testing of Wastewater

In the September 23, 2010 Federal Register, EPA proposed changes to analysis and sampling procedures used to monitor wastewater. Most of the proposed changes would affect 40 CFR Part 136. Several of the proposed changes impact analytical procedures commonly used by the forest products industry. Mills that conduct in-house analyses or use contract laboratories for wastewater testing to satisfy NPDES discharge permits will be particularly interested.
