CC-10-029: Proposed Method 16C for the Determination of Total Reduced Sulfur (TRS) Emissions from Stationary Sources

In the September 2, 2010 Federal Register, EPA published a proposal to add Method 16C for measuring TRS emissions from stationary sources to the list of EPA-approved stationary source test methods in 40 CFR Part 60, Appendix A. Federal regulations currently require TRS emissions from sources subject to the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) be measured using either EPA Method 16, 16A, or 16B. EPA is now proposing to add Method 16C to the list of approved test methods. This proposal will be of interest to companies with kraft mills.
