CC-10-017: Proposed Emission Standards for Combustion Devices Burning Non-Hazardous Solid Waste
In the June 4, 2010 Federal Register, EPA proposes to set emission standards for Commercial and Industrial Solid Waste Incineration (CISWI) units. This proposal will be of interest to companies operating boilers burning alternative fuels including used oil, tire-derived fuel, wastewater treatment plant residuals, construction and demolition debris, urban hog fuel, resinated wood, treated wood, OCC rejects, turpentine, tall oil, and any other material EPA is considering classifying as non-hazardous solid waste.
