CC-01-003: Modeling Procedures for “Non-Well Mixed” Biological Treatment Systems Being Used to Meet the MACT I Condensate Treatment Requirements at Kraft Mills

The attached material appeared in the January 22, 2001 Federal Register. It is an EPA final rule modifying biodegradation calculation procedures for “non-well mixed” open biological treatment systems being used to treat kraft pulp mill condensates in accordance with the MACT I requirements promulgated on April 15, 1998. This material will be of interest to kraft mills planning to use open biological treatment systems for meeting the condensate treatment requirements of the Cluster Rule.
