TSCA Inventory Notification (Active/Inactive) Rule

The TSCA Inventory Notification (Active/Inactive) Rule was published in August 2017. Reports of chemicals that might otherwise be listed as inactive are to be submitted to EPA by February 7, 2018. NCASI reviewed the rule and offered guidance to members in Corporate Correspondent Memorandum No. 17-013. On December 19, 2017, NCASI hosted a webinar covering aspects of an EPA Final Rule requiring manufacturers (and importers of chemicals) to notify EPA of chemical substances that were manufactured or imported into the US for nonexempt commercial purposes during the ten-year period ending on June 21, 2016. The presentation provided a brief overview of the rule matters that should be considered by member companies.
