The Handbook of Environmental Regulations and Control (HERC), Volume II: Wood Products Manufacturing was prepared by NCASI to provide a general overview of the basic U.S. federal regulatory framework applicable to wood products plants, the main components of wood product manufacturing, environmental air and water releases and control, solids residuals management, point source testing and continuous monitoring, modeling, and climate change issues. The purpose of this NCASI Wood Products Bootcamp will be to introduce the HERC resource to new environmental personnel or for existing personnel that may want to get to reacquainted with the handbook.
